The Kennet Catchment Partnership is currently (2019) funded by the Environment Agency. This financial support is essential and allows us to find support from other organisations to make real change in the catchment.
Core funding for the Catchment Partnership in 2012/13 was provided by:
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF)
WWF are a registered charity – most of their income comes from voluntary sources, such as their dedicated members, supporters and the business community. In 2009/10 the WWF spent over £50m on their work. The WWF’s 300+ staff work with governments, businesses and communities both here in the UK and around the world.
The WWF use their experience, credibility and influence to help create long-term solutions to global threats to people and nature – such as climate change, the peril to endangered species and habitats, and the unsustainable consumption of the world’s natural resources.
